Income and Poverty for South Dakota,  Counties, & Cities

The income and poverty data for South Dakota and for its counties and cities are available on the Census Bureau's website.  You will need to use the website's search engine to access these profiles:

1.  Two boxes will appear on the search engine.
2.  The first box has a drop down menu of the states.  Select South Dakota.
3.  Type in the county, city, or township that you want in the second box.  Click on "Go."
4.  A list will appear.  Select the item that you want and click on it.
5.  The first of four profiles will appear.  Scroll to the one that you want.
6.  The income and poverty data are on Table DP-3.  Profile of Selected Economic 
     Characteristics.
